Beaufort County Animal Services is always in need of volunteers.

Beaufort County Animal Campus Capital Campaign

They are an important and valued part of our team. If you are interested in volunteering the requirements below must be met:

  • Must pass a back ground check and fill out a Volunteer Service Agreement. Background checks and Volunteer Service Agreements can be filled out and turned in at the Beaufort County Animal Shelter (23 Shelter Church Road Beaufort, SC 29906).
  • If you are under 16 years of age a parent or guardian must be present at all times.

Once a Background check has been approved and the Volunteer Service Agreement has been filled out you can start volunteering! What can you expect when volunteering at our facility?

  • Volunteer hours are Monday-Saturday from 8am-4pm.

For safety purposes we have a dress code that must be abided by in order to volunteer:

  • Long pants
  • Closed toed shoes
  • We recommend wearing older clothes. Volunteering can be a dirty job!
